Sing-a-long-a High School Musical 3

What Happens

The world-famous Sing-a-long-a format has been delighting audiences since 1999.  If you’re not familiar with how it works, here are the basics:

Fancy dress

The important thing about Sing-a-long-a is that it’s completely inclusive – you join in as much or as little as you want.  It’s not compulsory to dress up but many people do and it really adds to the fun. Dip into the wardrobe of your imagination and surprise us with your creation.

The pre-show

There is a 30-minute pre-film show during which the host leads you through a vocal warm-up, prepares you for special moments throughout the film and judges the fancy dress competition. Everyone receives a free fun pack with special props for the “magic moments” that make the evening go with a bang.

With Abba Tribute, which is a live show, there is a Dancing Queen competition, which takes place just after the interval.  The singers involve you all the way through and there’s a free fun pack, just as with the film-based shows.  Although there’s not a fancy dress competition, lots of people dress up just the same.

Running time

Running times for the shows are: Grease (2 hrs 40 mins), Abba (2 hrs 15 mins), Sound of Music (3 hrs 50 mins) and Rocky Horror (2 hrs 30 mins).  These include a 30 minute pre-show and interval.

The interval

The interval usually lasts for 15 minutes. Most venues we play at have a bar, which is often open throughout the evening (please check with the venue before arriving).
